A few words about the car:
This ex-Mike Yeager car was #22 and entered by Panther
Racing and driven in five of the 1988 season's ten
races by Todd Herman of Arkansas City, KS, and Mike
Engelage of Brea, CA, with sponsorship by Panther
Lifts. During the 1988 racing season, Corvette equalized
engine performance and factory sealed the engines
to maintain the series' focus on competition among
essentially equal cars. Racing has been an important
part of the Corvette history. Only about 45 of the
50 original race cars survive. The cars were street
legal. It came with full race documentation.
