A few words about the car from the driver:

Lou wrote the following on DigitalCorvettes.com in 2004:

"I raced in every race in both seasons. My best finish was Second at Mosport in 99, and 3rd at St Pete fl also in 99. I ran #12 in 88 and #2 in 89. the 17 car was Scott Legassee's car, and the 42 was Randy Rhulman or PD Cunningham I believe.

I led the 89 race at Mosport until 3 laps from the end when I was hit and bumped out of 1st. I finished 2nd and Andy Pilgirm was 3rd.

We had names like Boris Said, PD Cunningham, Lou Gigliotti, Tommy Kendall, Andy Pilgirm, Juan Fangio, Mark Dismore, Jimmy Vasser, Bill Cooper, Scott Legassee, Sean Hendrix, Tommy Riggins, Tommy Archer, Bobby Archer (viper guys), Jeff Andretti, and many others who have gone on to make their mark in Motorsports in the United States. Most are still driving and still have an impact even today.

It was a great series, with great prize money. I won enough to pay my way and pay for the car to boot!
