A few words about the car from the current
owner:
Taken from MAMotorworks.com:
"All 1989 Challenge Cars had the new ZF six-speed
manual transmission, and a new adjustable suspension
system, Option RPO FX3. This permitted three variations
of suspension control, regulated by a console switch.
The Corvette Challenge Series ended at the close of
the 1989 season, but Corvettes continued to race in
the SCCA World Challenge Series."
Other interesting facts:
- Original color of this vehicle is black.
- Ruhlman's professional road racing career got
off the ground in 1990, when he moved up from the
highly touted Corvette Challenge to the ranks of
the Trans-Am Series.
