A few words about the car from the current owner:

Virtually identical to its fraternal twin, this car remains just as it did when it was raced in the series. Both of the Challenge Corvettes (#3 & #7) have not only their sealed race engines intact, but also have their original L98 Tuned Port power plants in storage.

My father raced this Corvette frequently at various schools and SVRA events. Sometimes we would share the car throughout the weekend – it became a car we both felt very comfortable driving. Some day I plan on finding some time in my schedule to enjoy driving it at future venues.
